We identified video consultations as a way to assist us in retaining our GPs through providing flexible working, whilst also combating the threat of its use by private healthcare provides. Since the introduction of video consultations, we have seen a positive reaction from both our staff and patients. Our staff have enjoyed increased flexibility and the opportunity to work from home, whilst patients have commented on the convenience of the video consultations and how easy they are to use. An elderly couple has been particularly complimentary, as they struggle to get into the surgery, they've both begun using video consultations and have passed on their thanks, stating that they will continue to use video consultations going forward.
