Datacenter and hosting

Visconn is currently hosted on UKCloud, on their highly secure Open Stack platform. This provides easy, secure connections to the internet and trusted public sector community networks including PSN, HSCN Janet and RLI. This gives Visconn access to the trusted and flexible Assured OFFICIAL and non-internet connected Elevated OFFICIAL cloud platforms.

UKCloud have UK Sovereignty providing secure cloud services exclusively for the UK market delivered across two accredited UK datacentres with UK government security clearances.

ISO9001

The international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

A specification for an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation’s information risk management processes.

HSCN Compliant

HSCN is a private network, designed as a reliable business resource to carry information, which is only available to certain organisations. This means that if patient data or personal data is being transmitted across HSCN, then encryption must be used.

Data Security and Protection Toolkit

As we have access to NHS patient data and systems, we use this toolkit to provide assurance that they are practising good data security and that personal information is handled correctly.
